Thanks for response. However customer is reluctant for migration and thus we have no options but to make existing MOSS 2007 site WCAG compliant.

Because, I heard that SharePoint 2010 has following,

  • WCAG 2 Compliant for accessibility needs
  • More cross browser friendly than before
  • Mostly table-less layout
  • Out of the box master pages will be based on the XHTML Strict DocType

I would like to add this, please make sure you select Visual Studio Developer optin when you install WSE3.0 extension. Also you need to enable WES3.0 from project. In visual studion, right click on the project and select WSE Settings 3.0 and enable the option from popup dialog.

Hope this might helpe if some needs to know how to enable the extension after the above setup.

I found it very helpful and I was able to duplicate just about everything. I could not restore the SSP using the old name because it complained about it already being in use. I also had to start some services up (Step 7) before I could complete Step 5 creating the ssp admin since it complained about no index server. All in all, a very nice solution to making an exact copy of my production site so I can play around with some new ideas without affecting the server everyone else uses.
